Isaiah 58:6; Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?

This blog represents our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. We believe in the inspired true Word of God. We believe Jesus is the Son of God. We believe Jesus died on the Cross for all of our sins & got up on the 3rd day with ALL power. We believe Jesus Christ can take away not some, but ALL our burdens so we can live a true life of freedom. We hope you post your comments, prayer requests, & testimonies. John 8:31-36-We are free

John 8:31-36 says "Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”  They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?” Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

If you've already accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, you are free.  You may be saying, "If I'm free, why am I still having sinful thoughts."  Look at the scripture, "If you abide in My Word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."  The more you study the Word of God, the more you combat those evil thoughts. But having those thoughts don't mean you have to act on them. Again, the more you abide/stay & study the Word of God & apply the Word to your life, then you'll begin to have less & less of those thoughts.  The key word is abide & apply.  Abide in the Word & apply the Word to you life.  You are already free.  It's all about changing your mindset.  Keep in mind, you've been thinking a certain way for many years; a mind change doesn't happen over night.  But it doesn't have to take many years to receive change.  Again, abide in the Word & apply the Word.  Most important, DO NOT FORGET - YOU ARE ALREADY FREE.  Just accept it & allow the Word to cleanse your mind of the trash the world put in it. 

Galatians 5:1 says "Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."

Galatians 5:16 says "I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh."  When you live the Word of God, you are walking in the Spirit.  Walking in the Spirit is a mindset that lines up with the Word of God (by Dr. Creflo Dollar).  So when you walk in the Spirit, you will not fulfill those things that please the flesh, such as adultery, homosexual acts, lying, stealing, raping, molesting, etc.
